CAREERS

Build the helpdesk teams stop having to think about.

We run fully managed support desks for growing companies — hosted, branded and operated by us, so their teams never become part-time helpdesk administrators. It is a small team in Kortrijk doing work that reaches a lot of inboxes.

Three DeskStack colleagues mapping out a support workflow together at a table

What it is like here.

Small enough that your work is visible, established enough that it runs in production for real companies.

Small team, real ownership

There is no layer between you and the work. What you build goes into client instances, usually the same week.

We run what we sell

Every client desk is hosted, patched, monitored and backed up by us. Operational quality is the product, not an afterthought.

Close to customers

Engineers talk to the people using the desks. You will hear the problem directly rather than through three summaries.

Solutions ArchitectKortrijk · Hybrid · Full-time · Client-facing

You are the technical voice in the room when a company decides how their support operation should work. You map their inboxes, teams and workflows onto a DeskStack deployment, run the migration, and stay with the account long after launch.

You would be an early technical hire on a team that deploys and runs support desks for companies across Europe. A typical week will include global client conversations, migrations to manage, and inputs into what engineering needs to build next. Nobody hands you a script — you decide how a deployment should be shaped, and you own whether it works when it goes live.

What you will be doing

  • Run technical discovery with prospective clients — their channels, team structure, routing rules, and what they genuinely need on day one versus what can wait
  • Design desk structures, role models and routing for clients running several regional or functional desks inside one console
  • Own migrations end to end: bring across mailboxes and full conversation history from a client’s existing helpdesk without losing threads, attachments or assignment history
  • Write the deployment plan a client’s IT team will actually follow — DNS records, mailbox delegation, cutover sequence, and a rollback that works
  • Run the cutover itself, often outside business hours, and stay on it until mail is flowing cleanly in both directions
  • Configure branding, authenticated sending and DNS alongside client IT teams so replies land from the first message
  • Sit in on late-stage sales conversations and answer technical questions honestly — including when the honest answer is that we are not the right fit
  • Scope custom work with engineering: translate what a client is asking for into what we should actually build, and push back when those differ
  • Stay on the account after launch as the technical point of contact for changes, new desks and growth

What we are looking for

  • 4+ years in solutions engineering, technical consulting or implementation for a B2B software product
  • Genuinely comfortable with email infrastructure: SPF, DKIM, DMARC, IMAP and SMTP, and the DNS records underneath them
  • Able to hold a technical conversation with an IT director and a support manager in the same meeting without losing either of them
  • Experience migrating data between systems, and a healthy respect for the edge cases that come with it
  • Comfortable owning an outcome rather than a ticket queue — nobody here will chase you for a status update
  • Patient with non-technical stakeholders who are, reasonably, nervous about moving years of email history
  • Written English you would be happy to put in front of a client unedited
  • Working proficiency in Dutch or French

Nice to have

  • You have worked with a helpdesk, shared-inbox or ticketing product before
  • You script your way out of data problems (Python, Bash) rather than doing them by hand
  • Experience with a DMARC rollout at a company that actually moved to enforcement
  • You have run a migration that went wrong, and can explain clearly what you changed afterwards

What we offer

  • A permanent contract, with salary discussed openly at the first interview rather than after four rounds
  • Hybrid working from our Kortrijk office, with real flexibility on where the rest of the week happens
  • Budget for training, certification and conferences
  • Hardware and home-office setup of your choosing, within reason

How we hire

  1. A 30-minute call to review your application and what you have built and what you want to own next
  2. A technical conversation, around 90 minutes, walking through a real deployment scenario — no whiteboard algorithms
  3. A conversation with a client-facing colleague about how you handle a migration going sideways
  4. An offer, with the salary figure discussed at the first call rather than the last

Platform EngineerKortrijk · Hybrid · Full-time · Infrastructure

Every client runs on their own isolated instance, and we keep all of them healthy. This role owns the infrastructure and the mail path underneath — provisioning, patching, monitoring, backups, and the deliverability that makes support email actually arrive.

Each client runs on a dedicated instance rather than a shared pool, so no tenant can affect another and data never commingles. That design is deliberate, and it is also the hard part: patching, monitoring, backups and sender reputation all have to work per-instance, across a fleet that grows with the business, without someone doing it by hand every time. This role owns that problem and the automation that solves it.

What you will be doing

  • Run the infrastructure behind every client instance: provisioning, hosting, security patching, and backups with restores that have actually been tested
  • Own deliverability — authenticated relay, SPF/DKIM/DMARC alignment, sending-capacity monitoring, and the sender reputation that decides whether replies land
  • Build the monitoring and alerting for mail flow, queue health and availability, so we hear about problems before a client does
  • Reduce the manual steps in provisioning until a new client instance is a pipeline run rather than a checklist someone follows
  • Investigate incidents affecting mail intake or delivery, resolve them, and write up what actually happened rather than what we hoped happened
  • Work with the Solutions Architect on the infrastructure side of migrations, particularly high-volume mailbox imports
  • Keep every instance current — no client should ever be running outdated software because someone forgot

What we are looking for

  • 3+ years running production Linux infrastructure that other people genuinely depended on
  • Real experience with mail infrastructure — a relay, an MTA, or a sending platform — and the DNS that surrounds it
  • Comfortable with containers, CI pipelines and infrastructure as code
  • You have built the alerting that pages you, not only responded to someone else’s
  • You treat undifferentiated manual work as a bug to remove rather than a process to document
  • Security patching is routine to you, not an annual project
  • Calm during an incident, and clear in writing afterwards

Nice to have

  • MySQL or PostgreSQL operations at production scale
  • Experience with per-tenant isolated architectures rather than shared multi-tenant
  • You have run infrastructure where email deliverability was a business-critical metric, not an afterthought
  • Familiarity with EU hosting and data-residency requirements

What we offer

  • A permanent contract, with salary discussed openly at the first interview rather than after four rounds
  • Hybrid working from our Kortrijk office, with real flexibility on where the rest of the week happens
  • Budget for training, certification and conferences
  • Hardware and home-office setup of your choosing, within reason

How we hire

  1. A 30-minute call with the founder about the systems you have run and what broke on them
  2. A technical conversation, around 90 minutes, on infrastructure design and a real incident you handled — bring one
  3. A short practical exercise in your own time, capped at two hours, discussed rather than graded
  4. An offer, with the salary figure discussed at the first call rather than the last

International Sales & Marketing ExecutiveKortrijk · Hybrid · Full-time · Growth

You will help take DeskStack beyond the companies that already know us. This is not a role where marketing hands leads to sales, or sales waits for marketing to fill the pipeline — you will work across both: finding the right companies, getting DeskStack in front of them, figuring out which messages actually resonate, and turning good conversations into customers.

DeskStack runs fully managed helpdesks for growing companies — we host them, brand them, configure them and keep them running. The product is straightforward to explain once someone sees it; the challenge is finding the companies that need it and reaching them at the right moment. You would be an early commercial hire, working directly with the founder, with room to test markets, change the message, try channels and build the commercial playbook rather than inherit one. A typical week might include prospecting into a new European market, running discovery calls with companies replacing Zendesk or Freshdesk, putting together a campaign for a specific industry, following up with an inbound prospect, and telling the product team what you keep hearing from buyers.

What you will be doing

  • Build and manage an international sales pipeline across Europe and selected markets beyond it
  • Identify companies that fit DeskStack particularly well and work out how to reach the people actually responsible for their support operation
  • Prospect directly through email, LinkedIn, partnerships, events and other channels that prove they work
  • Handle inbound opportunities from first conversation through proposal and close
  • Run discovery calls that uncover how a company handles support today, where it is breaking down, and whether DeskStack genuinely fits
  • Demonstrate DeskStack around the prospect’s actual workflow rather than running the same presentation every time
  • Build relationships with operations leaders, customer-support teams, IT teams and company leadership
  • Develop market-specific campaigns and messaging rather than assuming the same approach works everywhere
  • Help create landing pages, customer stories, sales material, email campaigns and other content that moves a buyer forward
  • Test new acquisition channels, measure what works and stop spending time on what does not
  • Research new countries, industries and customer segments before we invest heavily in them
  • Build relationships with consultants, technology partners and other companies that can introduce DeskStack to the right customers
  • Keep the CRM useful — real opportunities, real next steps and realistic forecasts rather than a database full of names
  • Bring what you learn from customers directly back into product, pricing and positioning decisions
  • Help establish the sales and marketing processes that future commercial hires will inherit

What we are looking for

  • 5+ years in B2B software, SaaS, technology services or another consultative B2B sales environment
  • Experience selling internationally rather than only inside one local market
  • Comfortable finding your own opportunities instead of depending entirely on inbound leads
  • Able to run a sales conversation from first contact through discovery, proposal, negotiation and close
  • Strong written English — particularly short, clear commercial writing that sounds like a person wrote it
  • Comfortable creating marketing content yourself when that is faster than briefing someone else
  • Commercial curiosity: you want to understand why one segment buys and another does not
  • Enough analytical discipline to know whether a campaign or channel is actually working
  • Comfortable speaking with everyone from a support manager to an IT director or company founder
  • Organised enough to manage a pipeline across different countries, buying cycles and time zones without opportunities disappearing
  • Independent enough to turn a goal such as “find customers in Germany” into an actual plan and execute it
  • Willing to tell us when the message, price or product is wrong rather than trying to sell around the problem
  • Working proficiency in at least one additional European language

Nice to have

  • You have sold helpdesk, customer-service, shared-inbox, CRM or other B2B workflow software before
  • Experience selling managed services alongside software
  • Existing knowledge of the European SaaS or customer-support market
  • Experience with outbound tools, CRM systems and marketing automation
  • You can build a useful landing page or campaign without requiring a six-person marketing team
  • You have opened a new country or market before and can explain what worked, what did not and what you would do differently
  • Dutch, French, German or another European language

What we offer

  • A permanent contract, with salary discussed openly at the first interview rather than after four rounds
  • A meaningful performance-based component tied to business you actually help create
  • Hybrid working from our Kortrijk office, with flexibility when international customers or travel make that sensible
  • Direct involvement in how DeskStack enters new markets and builds its commercial strategy
  • Budget for relevant training, conferences and industry events
  • The opportunity to grow with the commercial side of the company rather than joining after all the interesting decisions have already been made

How we hire

  1. A 30-minute conversation about what you have sold, how you found the customers, and what you want to build next
  2. A commercial conversation around a real DeskStack market — how you would identify prospects, reach them and position the product
  3. A short practical exercise: choose a prospective customer and show us how you would approach them. No 30-slide strategy deck required
  4. A final conversation about fit, expectations and what you would own in your first months
  5. An offer, with the salary and variable compensation structure discussed from the beginning rather than revealed at the end

Part-Time Office ManagerKortrijk · On-site · Part-time (20–30 hrs/week) · Operations

We’re looking for someone to keep the DeskStack office running smoothly — without turning it into a place with seventeen forms for ordering coffee. This is a practical, flexible part-time role for someone who likes keeping things organised, helping people out, and quietly making sure everything works.

One day you might be ordering office supplies, the next arranging lunch for the team, helping organise a company event, welcoming a visitor, chasing an invoice, or figuring out why we somehow have 200 coffee pods but no milk. The job is varied — that is part of the fun. You will work closely with the team and have plenty of freedom to make the office better, simpler and more enjoyable.

What you will be doing

  • Keep the office organised, stocked and generally functioning like a normal place of business
  • Order supplies, snacks, drinks and the other small things everyone notices only when they disappear
  • Coordinate cleaners, maintenance, deliveries and other office services
  • Welcome visitors, candidates, suppliers and occasional lost delivery drivers
  • Help organise team lunches, dinners, celebrations and company events
  • Assist with travel arrangements, hotels and bookings when needed
  • Handle basic office administration and paperwork
  • Help keep invoices, receipts and expenses organised
  • Coordinate incoming and outgoing mail and packages
  • Keep track of office equipment and supplies
  • Help with onboarding new team members so their first day feels organised rather than improvised
  • Occasionally help with small HR, recruitment or administrative tasks
  • Find better suppliers or simpler ways of doing things when something makes no sense
  • Be the person who notices that we’re running out of something before we actually run out of it
  • Generally make the office a nicer and easier place to work

What we are looking for

  • You are organised without needing everything to become a spreadsheet
  • You are reliable and comfortable working independently
  • You enjoy helping people and making things run properly
  • You can juggle several small tasks without forgetting half of them
  • You are comfortable picking up the phone, sending emails and dealing with suppliers
  • You have good written and spoken English
  • You are comfortable with basic office software and online tools
  • You notice details
  • You have common sense — surprisingly important
  • You are happy doing both the enjoyable jobs and the slightly boring ones
  • You are based close enough to Kortrijk to regularly work from the office

Previous office-management or administrative experience is useful, but we care more about whether you are dependable, organised and good with people.

Nice to have

  • Dutch and/or French
  • Experience organising small events
  • Experience with bookkeeping, expenses or basic finance administration
  • Experience supporting a small company or startup
  • A suspiciously strong opinion about which office coffee machine we should buy

What we offer

  • A permanent part-time position
  • 20–30 hours per week, with flexibility around how those hours are scheduled
  • A relaxed office environment in Kortrijk
  • Plenty of autonomy — if you see something that could work better, fix it
  • A small team where your work genuinely makes everyone’s day easier
  • Team lunches, events and the occasional excuse to order too much food
  • No corporate bureaucracy for the sake of corporate bureaucracy
  • The chance to help shape the office as DeskStack grows

How we hire

  1. A short conversation to get to know each other
  2. A visit to the DeskStack office so you can meet the team and see where you would be working
  3. A practical conversation about how you would handle a few everyday office situations
  4. An offer if it feels like a good fit on both sides

No seven-round interview process. No personality test that tells us which type of office chair you are.
